Participant Coordinator
Alessandra Alvarez graduated with honors from James Madison University in 2008, with a B.S. in Psychology and minors in Sociology and in Spanish. Upon graduation she worked for a non-profit organization, The Alternative House, at their teen crisis shelter and at their outreach program Annandale Safe Youth Project (ASYP), for low-income, minority 4th through 6th graders. She is thrilled to work as the Participant Coordinator/Research Assistant for Project FLIP, and in expanding her research interests and experiences! She plans to continue to work in the field and further her studies with a graduate degree in Clinical Psychology, focusing on cross-cultural and multicultural populations.
