Paula McIntyre, originally from Nashville, TN graduated from Georgetown University in 2006 with a B.S. in Psychology and minors in both History and French. In the three years since graduation, Paula worked as a New York City Teaching Fellow and took classes at Mercy College. During this time, she taught special education in grades 6 and 7 in the low-income neighborhood of East Tremont in the Bronx. While teaching, she also earned her M.S. in Urban Education. Paula loves working with kids of all ages and is really happy to be a part of the Early Learning Project as a research assistant going out in the field on baby visits and being a point of contact for interested parents. In her "free time" Paula hangs out with her Bichon Frise, Max and babysits for several wonderful children. |
