Cathrina Strait is currently a junior at Georgetown University. After graduating from Brookfield High School in 1999 she decided to spend some extra time in Connecticut before heading to college in D.C. As a result of her semester off in the fall of 1999 she came to Georgetown with a new purpose and major in January of 2000. Loving her General Psychology class that semester confirmed her desire to become a clinical psychologist and she has been working towards that goal ever since. She enjoyed interning with the Institute of Psychological Sciences in Crystal City, Virginia, the fall of the year 2000, and also gained a lot of insight into youth behavior as a research assistant to the Georgetown Center for the Study of Youth Violence the spring of her sophomore year. Besides working on the Early Learning Project this spring she is also interning at the American Psychological Association. She loved being surrounded by her baby cousins when she was little, and she cannot wait to start a family of her own sometime in the future. |
