Research Assistant

Ann-Marie Faria Ann-Marie joined our research team in the summer of 2004. She is a graduate of Trinity College in Hartford, CT where she majored in psychology, and minored in Spanish. She is currently an elementary school Spanish teacher, and works at the Beauvoir School at the National Cathedral in Washington, DC. Originally from Boston, she is an avid Red Sox fan and hasn't given up hope yet. At the Georgetown Early Learning Project she is working with our two year olds, and enjoys the experience it gives her to work with infants and their families in a research setting. Her research interests include second language aquisition and the effects of school environment on race relations. This fall she is also applying to graduate school to further her studies of child development.
