Amaya graduated from the University of Iowa in May of 2002, where she double majored in English and Psychology. During her senior year she worked in a research lab that focused on young children's language development. She had such a good experience that she decided to continue working in psychological research after graduation. She has been working at the ELP for the past year and a half and has enjoyed getting to work with so many wonderful babies and parents!
